The deadline is approaching to contribute to the European Commission’s public consultation on the future EU Youth Strategy. The consultation invites young people, youth organisations, public authorities, researchers and all interested stakeholders to share their views on the priorities that should shape the post-2027 EU youth policy.

The current EU Youth Strategy (2019-2027) provides the framework for cooperation in the youth field across the EU. Building on its implementation and evaluation, the European Commission is now preparing a new strategy that aims to better respond to the opportunities and challenges facing young people in the years ahead.
The consultation seeks feedback on key priorities, policy tools and cooperation mechanisms, helping ensure that the next strategy reflects the needs and aspirations of Europe's youth.
For Rural Pact members, organisations working with young people, and rural youth, the consultation offers an opportunity to bring rural perspectives into discussions on the future of EU Youth Strategy. Issues such as access to education and training, employment, housing, mobility, digital connectivity, participation in decision-making and access to services all influence whether young people can build their future in rural communities.
Contributions can be submitted online through the European Commission's Have Your Say portal. The questionnaire is available in all EU languages and takes around ten minutes to complete. The feedback received will help inform the development of the post-2027 EU Youth Strategy.
