The third edition of the Rural Pact Good Practice Brochure focuses on territorial development. It highlights how integrated approaches like LEADER/CLLD, Integrated Territorial Investments (ITIs) and Smart Villages can help improve quality of life in rural areas.
The publication presents six good practices from across Europe, covering issues such as integrated territorial development, coordinated governance and funding, providing job opportunities, fostering social inclusion and building local capacity. The examples show how territorial development instruments and approaches can deliver more integrated, place-based and community-led interventions for better quality of life in rural areas.
