The EU-funded project SHERPA recently published two sets of recommendations – for policy and research – to help rural areas address potential challenges and unlock existing and future opportunities.

The recommendations are aligned with the four pillars and component building blocks of the Rural Action Plan, with a focus on the post-2027 period and improvements to the EU’s Rural Vision. They are based on project outputs such as multi-actor platforms, position papers and stakeholder conference.
