Do you work for a local authority, national or regional managing authority under the EU’s 2021-2027 cohesion policy? Try the new SAT4TER tool to assess your integrated territorial development strategy.
The SAT4TER tool aims to support authorities with developing or updating their strategies for Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI), Community-led Local Development (CLLD), and other types using a mix of territorial tools in non-urban settings. It is intended to help with:
-
assessing the extent to which the strategy builds on an integrated and participatory approach as defined by cohesion policy;
-
evaluating the strategy’s completeness and quality, from design and implementation to monitoring and evaluation;
-
obtaining valuable information for other activities, such as peer-reviews, benchmarking, dissemination activities, as well as external expert involvement.
Jointly developed by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre and Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy, the tool was launched at a dedicated online event on 23 April 2024.
In view of its contribution to the objectives of the rural vision and Pact, the tool will be widely highlighted within the Rural Pact Support Office activities supporting the development of the Pact at local and regional levels.
