The European Commission has launched a call for tenders for managing the ‘Rural Pact Support Office’ which assists the Commission in facilitating and strengthening the Rural Pact. The deadline for the submission of offers is 2 September 2025.

The Contractor will provide an EU-level support office to assist Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) with the facilitation of the Rural Pact, done in close coordination with the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO).
It will provide facilitation services to the Rural Pact community to help them achieve their objectives, therefore contributing to the shared goals of the long-term vision for EU’s rural areas.
The Rural Pact Support Office, already in place for three years, will continue interacting with the Rural Pact community, evaluating their needs and support the work of the community as a whole for two years.
It will also continue to build synergies with networks and governing bodies, such as the EU CAP Network governing bodies, the Broadband Competence Office support facility, and bodies running the Territorial agenda for the EU and other relevant EU initiatives. It will also interact with stakeholder networks such as the European Rural Parliament.
