The call specifically targets cultural operators who can provide relevant case studies on the internal and external components of vibrant creative ecosystems, including co-living or residency programmes in non-urban areas. Any cultural practitioner can submit an abstract, with no research background required.
Edited and published by the ENCC with the support of the Institute of European Studies of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, the online book will be launched in September 2027 during the ENCC annual conference in Leuven, Belgium. It will include around 20-30 contributions, focusing on the internal and external links that constitute local creative ecosystems and allow them to last sustainably, transform and reproduce.
Interested applicants can submit their abstract by 30 November 2026. Selected authors will be invited to provide full texts by the end of February 2027.
