Explore the new searchable Rural Pact Knowledge Hub

The Rural Pact Knowledge Hub has been revamped to make it easier for rural stakeholders to find and explore useful knowledge from across Europe. The searchable database brings together resources relevant to the EU rural vision and the objectives of the Rural Pact.

The Hub gathers resources developed by the European Commission, EU agencies and institutions, EU-funded projects, international organisations, research bodies and other organisations working on rural development. These range from studies, reports and policy briefs to strategies and policy frameworks, practical guidance, methodologies, databases, interactive tools and online resource collections.

The resources cover a wide range of topics affecting rural areas. Users can explore knowledge on governance and rural proofing, demographic change, access to services, digitalisation, mobility, climate and nature, energy, entrepreneurship, social economy, tourism, LEADER/CLLD, research and innovation, among many others.

Each resource is presented through a concise overview explaining what it offers, why it is useful for rural areas and who can benefit from it, alongside a direct link to the original resource and related Rural Pact content.

The new search functionality enables users to filter the collection by topic and by the four rural vision areas – stronger, connected, resilient and prosperous rural areas – as well as by type of resource. This intends to help policymakers, practitioners, researchers, networks, Local Action Groups and community organisations identify knowledge relevant to their work.
