Eurobarometer survey results reveal strong support for the CAP

The latest Eurobarometer survey reveals an overwhelming majority of EU citizens – 92% – considering agriculture and rural development important for the future.

The survey results further highlight that support for the EU's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) is at an all-time high with:
- 78% of respondents indicating they are aware of what the CAP is; and
- over 70% agree that the EU, through the CAP, is fulfilling its role in providing safe, healthy and sustainable high-quality food.
