Commit to act for the Pact! A brand-new web tool now allows you to pledge an action – big or small – towards the shared objectives of the EU rural vision, and get inspired by actions committed by others.

Are you willing to act for the development of European rural areas? Describe your proposed action and give it visibility through the Rural Pact Community Platform – we’ll publish it in our new, searchable online tool.
Everyone can contribute according to their capacity and no action is too small!
Who can submit a commitment?
Anyone with a passion for or interest in rural areas - whether you are a citizen or public authority representative, an entrepreneur or academic, a farmer or NGO, we would like to hear from you.
You can commit in your individual capacity or on behalf of your organisation.
To what can you commit?
You can pledge a range of actions, from communication to capacity building, from a strategy to a networking event, from a research initiative to a concrete activity in a rural area.
How can you commit?
- Create your member profile on the Rural Pact Community Platform, unless you already have one, and log in.
- Click on the ‘Commit to act for the Pact’ button to fill in the online form.
- Review and save your commitment.
- We will then publish it on the website.
That’s it! Upon publication, your commitment will be visible and searchable through the main commitments search page.
