ACCTING is funding 10 pilot projects for an inclusive Green Deal
ACCTING, funded by HORIZON 2020, is supporting innovative projects to reduce inequalities and negative impacts on vulnerable groups as part of the European Green Deal.
On 7 July 2023 , ACCTING has opened a call for pilot actions, selecting 10 ideas with high potential to address vulnerabilities. Each selected project will receive funding of up to €32,000 and run for a maximum of 12 months.
The call is open to local authorities, non-profit organisations, and collective representation bodies in the areas of Energy, Mobility, Food, Disaster Management, and Biodiversity. Applicants must be in the European Union or HORIZON EUROPE Associated Countries.
These pilot projects offer an opportunity to address social and environmental issues while promoting sustainability and inclusivity. The ACCTING funding call holds particular relevance for rural areas, which often encompass vulnerable communities. These regions may face unique challenges related to access to resources, infrastructure, and services. It would therefore be interesting to have pilot projects considering and addressing the specific needs and vulnerabilities of these rural populations.
By taking part in an ACCTING pilot project, rural organisations can contribute to a more sustainable future and join a collective effort to tackle these challenges, especially in rural areas.
