    Description

The underlying factors hampering repopulation are also responsible for fuelling the departure of young people: the lack of job opportunities and the limited housing opportunities. When young people leave, public services become less and less sustainable, which further limits their availability and contributes to out-migration.

To reverse the process, we must innovate, strengthen local social initiatives and explore new ways of improving housing and promoting cooperative work. We must place the emphasis on scope rather than scale, gain new neighbours and, based on the social capital they contribute with and what we build together, do everything possible to diversify local economies.

To achieve this, we want to promote new media, technologies, new forms of social organisation and forms of relationship with cities and businesses, a new culture and the wide use of cooperative tools and methodologies.

We can do better if many of us do it together, we can build better villages and a better rural life.
