Coordinated by the Rural Pact Support Office, in partnership with the European Commission’s DG AGRI, DG REGIO, and the Interreg Europe Learning Platform, this 1.5 hrs session:
- Raised awareness of the added value that the Rural Pact could bring to untap the potential of rural communities;
- Learned from local experiences and policy initiatives that empower rural communities to achieve their ambitions and contribute to the rural vision;
- Facilitated exchange to build practical recommendations to untap the potential of rural communities in the future.
The event brought together 86 representatives of relevant local organisations and policymakers involved in the design and implementation of initiatives or policies with an impact on local rural communities.
