Description
Diputación Impulsa is a project that will contribute to the demographic and economic development of the province of Cáceres, by attracting life projects, entrepreneurship and investment, focusing especially on rural areas.
It is the result of the agreement signed between the Provincial Council of Cáceres, the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the province of Cáceres and the Extremadura Network for Rural Development.
The different actions included in this project will benefit the cities and towns of our province increasing its inhabitants, creating new jobs, new opportunities, entrepreneurial epicentre, media impact and projects for the future.
Actions will be carried out to attract and engage entrepreneurs, investors or people who want to settle in the province of Cáceres. Companies and/or individuals will be supported throughout the development of their project.

Expected Outcomes
- We will organise a yearly Demo Day for startups.
- We will coordinate a Business Angels event per year.
- We will continue populating the "opportunities section" on our webpage with houses, offices/premises, industrial warehouses... available in the province.
- We will run Diputación Impulsa Support Office to help individuals to start their projects in the rural areas of the province.
- We will organise monthly networking meetings to showcase the opportunities of the province.
- We will once a year coordinate the inmersion weekend for entrepreneurs to meet our entrepreneurial ecosystem and the opportunities our region offers for potential startups from all over Spain and Portugal.
- We will run the APP PRE-Impulsa (Programa de Relevo Empresarial-Business Succession Program) to connect potential entrepreneurs interested in starting a rural business in a succession situation.
- We will create an investment club to finance projects developed in rural areas, helping to establish these projects in the province.
