Within the framework of LEADER implementation in Andalusia, the initiative aims to support cost-control and moderation processes linked to local development projects. It seeks to simplify administrative procedures and improve efficiency for actors involved in LEADER implementation, including Local Action Groups and managing authorities.

The initiative combines a relatively small budget with the ambition to support and simplify cost control processes affecting thousands of people involved in LEADER project implementation. Implemented by the Local Action Group Asociación para el Desarrollo Rural de Andalucía (ARA), Spain, it illustrates how targeted digital innovation can help improve the efficiency of rural development delivery at local level.

This action for the rural vision – submitted through the Rural Pact online platform – is just one of a wide variety of initiatives that the Rural Pact is looking to showcase. These can range from local projects to strategies and advocacy, from networking activities to capacity building and knowledge.
