The Transforming Rural Landscapes project, led by the Rural Radicals agency for culture-led rural development, brings together four Local Action Groups (LAGs) from Finland, the Netherlands and Romania to re-activate rural buildings through creativity.

By creating places where culture, community and nature come together, the project aims to transform neglected buildings into catalysts for rural renewal, imagining these spaces as bridges between rural and urban life, sparking new collaborations and sustainable ways of living.

The project will co-develop mapping, governance and financing pathways to create a practical and replicable approach that rural stakeholders can adopt and use. Municipalities, LAGs and rural organisations are invited to join the project, contribute local cases, exchange methods and access mentorship and tools.
