The Puigcerdà Declaration overviews the opportunities and key sectors that have the potential to drive mountain economies – from agriculture to tourism, circular economy or entrepreneurship – and puts forward proposals to give them a vibrant future. It concludes with a set of recommendations to European, national and regional institutions.
The Declaration is a result of a co-construction process with mountain communities during the 13th European Mountain Convention (15-18 October 2024 – Puigcerdà, Spain). It is available in English, French and Catalan.
