A new book by the Rural NEET Youth Network examines challenges of young people categorised as Not in Employment, Education, or Training (NEET), discusses existing support systems and informs policy frameworks related to education, employment, and social welfare in rural areas.

This open-access publication identifies and analyses various factors influencing youth social development and inclusion in rural areas, and explores the role of rural development policy design in uplifting vulnerable young people in European countryside settings. It sets the stage for enhanced policies and targeted interventions to support marginalised youth populations in rural regions.
