The project’s policy brief on Renewing rural homes: recommendations for energy poverty mitigation overviews the energy characteristics, systems and sources of 88 rural dwellings across seven countries. It sets out recommendations on measures that European governmental bodies could implement to mitigate rural energy poverty through renovation of the building stock.
A new project report evaluates several energy-efficiency measures in energy-poor, rural households, highlighting a rigorous need for policy transformations and improvements.
