The award has two categories: 1. outstanding community initiatives in rural resilience; and 2. individual contributions to promoting rural resilience.
By spotlighting exemplary initiatives that tackle economic, environmental, and social challenges, the award will facilitate knowledge exchange and encourage learning from diverse experiences and practices.
The award aspires to continue the legacy of Michael Dower – a passionate rural activist – to inspire rural communities and champions, and engage them in acting for a lively and sustainable rural Europe.
