EU public consultation on Civil Society Strategy – send feedback by 05 September

The European Commission is seeking feedback from individuals and organisations to gather evidence and input on the Civil Society Strategy. It is an opportunity for rural civil society organisations to express their needs and concerns and to support the inclusion of rural voices in civil society engagement processes at the EU level.

The public consultation and its related call for evidence will inform the EU Civil Society Strategy and provide an opportunity for stakeholders to share their views, information and analysis. The Commission will draw on the input when proposing specific initiatives to protect, support and promote engagement with civil society organisations.
The consultation will aim to understand the concrete challenges that civil society organisations face and to help shape actions by the EU and its Member States to address them.
