The project has mapped national and regional one-stop shops in the 27 EU countries and in Iceland, Moldova, North Macedonia and Ukraine.
The catalogue provides a comprehensive list of the services offered to energy communities by each one-stop shop.
One-stop shops are support hubs for energy communities where citizens, groups and organisations can access guidance, technical expertise and financial support. These hubs offer a broad range of services, from administrative and technical assistance to financial support, capacity building and project design. They can provide support for new initiatives or help grow existing community energy projects.
The European Energy Communities Facility is a project funded under the LIFE programme which aims to empower the development of energy communities across Europe. From 2024 to 2028, it will assist at least 140 energy communities in building strong business strategies through grants and tailored capacity-building support. Managed by an international consortium of experienced organisations, the European Energy Communities Facility is supported by a network of 29 national experts.
