Funded under the Interreg Euro-MED programme which supports cooperation across Mediterranean borders, the REVIVE, ArtMED and RuralMED projects are reducing regional disparities and promoting balanced growth across Europe, supporting  inclusive collaboration among public, private and academic partners.

REVIVE: co-creating customised local business models

The REVIVE project is promoting the revitalisation of rural areas in the Mediterranean region by developing community-based business models, equipping regions with a practical methodology to build robust and sustainable local businesses. The plans, including economic, digital and territorial marketing components, are elaborated with local authorities, the economic sector, researchers and residents.

ArtMED: planning today for tomorrow’s rural mobility solutions

The ArtMED project is promoting autonomous and on-demand transport in Mediterranean rural areas. Through the development of the user-friendly tool MOBI, it supports transport authorities, planners, operators and policymakers in estimating vehicle needs, exploring deployment scenarios and evaluating financial viability.

RuralMED Mobility: when rural mobility meets sustainable mobility

Addressing the high dependence on private cars of rural areas, the RuralMED project is working to advance the adoption of electric mobility and sustainable transport solutions. The project identified successful initiatives in terms of electric vehicle charging and the integration of sustainable mobility solutions into transport networks.
