The second session of the RURBANIVE project forum series will explore how stronger rural–urban cooperation and innovative mobility solutions can improve accessibility, social inclusion and territorial cohesion across Europe.
Building on recent EU policy developments, including the European Commission’s 2025 Recommendation on transport poverty, the forum will explore how better territorial data, digital tools and coordinated planning approaches can help identify mobility gaps and support more accessible, affordable and sustainable transport systems.
The session will provide a space for knowledge exchange and discussion on the challenges of transport poverty, the role of rural–urban cooperation in improving connectivity, and the policy actions needed to address territorial inequalities.
RURBANIVE is a project funded by Horizon Europe which promotes experimentation and innovation focused on building up the well-being economies of rural and urban areas.
