This session will explore the Rural Pact Coordination Group (RPCG) Declaration and its potential to influence post-2027 policy, focusing on community-led innovations like Smart Villages. A discussion will follow on how to turn the Declaration’s words into action.

The aim of this session is to present and critically reflect on the Rural Pact Coordination Group (RPCG) Declaration and its ability to influence policy change post-2027. Firstly, the main statements of the Declaration will be presented, with special focus on its implications on community-led local innovative approaches, such as Smart Villages.
