The first webinar of the Rural Pact Community Group on migrants and refugees' inclusion will bring together academic, policy and practice-based perspectives to migration to rural areas.
The webinar aims at positioning the Community Group as a European space for identifying, connecting and sharing practical solutions for migrants and refugees’ inclusion in rural areas.
The session will feature interventions from:
- Prof. Annelies Zoomers, Utrecht University (Welcoming Spaces)
- Georgia Alexandrou, KMOP (EPIC-UP project)
- CEPAIM (Nuevos Senderos and other rural mobility and migration programmes)
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a group discussion to learn from peers, identify best practices, map relevant rural stakeholders, and lay the groundwork for future cooperation.
