This workshop, organised in the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities, will explore challenges and opportunities for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in rural areas.
The event will present work to identify policies for innovation in rural areas in a number of OECD countries, and to analyse start-up activities in rural regions across the EU.
