• Objective 1

amplify the voice of rural areas to bring them higher on the political agenda
Description

Rewilding Europe works in 10 landscapes across Europe sustainable economic benefits, intangible benefits such as renewed pride in place, and climate benefits including increased carbon capture. These are large scale areas, frequently (not always) characterised by rural depopulation. We refer to our holistic approach as rewilding. Our commitment is to represent the people living in these diverse landscapes and bring our shared experience of rewilding to contribute to the balanced, fair, green and innovative development of rural areas.
