    amplify the voice of rural areas to bring them higher on the political agenda
Description

I commit to help strengthening the voices of young, rural people in Europe. I can help by connecting with young people and think of communication strategies to get rural voices across to the European commission and vice versa. This also means that the EC will sometimes have to listen better and be open to change its positions.

From my H2020 funded research on the future of rural areas for young people, I think that I have useful ideas for this commitment. The EC can contact me if they're interested.

    Setting up contacts between young Dutch rural people and the EC.

    • Make sure that the communication of the EC towards young people becomes more understandable
    • The EC has done something with the idea of a eurosceptic rural young person, who reports back positively!
