The session, part of the European Week of Regions and Cities, will explore how rural proofing can be effectively integrated into policymaking and decision-making.
The session will feature a panel discussion on efficient implementation of rural proofing at different governance levels and a peer-review on a range of initiatives of the EU-funded projects GRANULAR, VALORADA and RUSTIK, in which rural proofing has been practically applied to address territorial challenges.
