The third thematic conference of the EU-funded project Down to Earth will explore policy instruments to foster the role of farmers and land managers in fighting climate change and environmental risks.

Down to Earth is a project funded by Interreg Europe, which aims at managing, maintaining, and enhancing practices, tools, instruments and strategies to reduce the risk and impact of environmental disasters in rural areas.

The conference will gather international experts, researchers and local farmers. The event will feature panel discussions, roundtables, and the official presentation of Down to Earth's third Joint Thematic Report "Policies that activate territories: European lessons to strengthen the role of the agroforestry sector in addressing climate change."
