This workshop will bring together researchers, practitioners, local and regional policymakers to explore collaborative approaches to rural sustainability and development.

The session is organised within the framework of the Horizon Europe-funded project RUSTIK, in collaboration with the Granular and Down to Earth projects. RUSTIK is a four-year project working to enable rural communities and policymakers to design better strategies, initiatives and policies for sustainability transitions in rural areas.

The workshop will explore RUSTIK’s living labs and multi-actor approach as tools to support multilevel governance and evidence-based policymaking.
