The guidance documents address:

  • Rural shared mobility solutions: information on the financial and operational aspects for the long-term sustainability of the identified good practices, success factors and transferability potential;
  • Sustainable mobility in rural tourism regions: good practice and advice on connecting tourist destinations to resilient sustainable mobility networks and adapting mobility offers to tourists’ needs.

SMARTA-NET is an initiative of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport, which works to promote sustainable and resilient mobility connections between and within rural and remote areas, as well as with urban areas.
