The call ‘Joint demonstration of solutions to build soil resilience to extreme weather events and support food security’ (HORIZON-MISS-2026-06-CLIMA-SOIL) will support innovation actions contributing to the goals of the EU Mission on Soil Health and Food and the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change, helping turn research and innovation into concrete solutions.
Interested applicants can submit their proposals by 23 September via the Funding and Tenders portal.
Innovation actions are types of projects funded under Horizon Europe which aim to develop plans or designs for new or improved products, processes or services, with a funding rate of up to 70% of eligible costs.
Projects funded under this call are expected to contribute to enhanced monitoring of soils at subnational level, leading to improved soil resilience against extreme weather events, as well as to the adoption of tailored soil management practices that strengthen soil health.
