This highlights report summarises the key messages and discussions at the High-level Rural Policy Forum of 27-29 September 2023, co-organised by the Spanish presidency of the Council of the EU and the European Commission, with the support of the Rural Pact Support Office.
The Rural Policy Forum facilitated policy exchanges among national authorities, contributing to the implementation of the EU’s rural vision. It established a dialogue on enhanced multi-level governance frameworks and participatory structures to enable the listening to rural actors’ voices and enhance the design of rural policies that empower them to act within the framework of the Rural Pact.
