Recognising rural women innovators: enter the competition between 1 and 31 October

The EU-funded GRASS CEILING project seeks to recognise and celebrate women who are driving socio-ecological innovation in rural areas. The award intends to increase the number of women-led innovations in farming, rural economies, and communities, fostering sustainability, inclusion, and well-being.

The Rural Women Innovators Award (RUWI) will acknowledge the crucial role of women and organisations in promoting innovation and positive change in rural areas. Apply to: showcase your innovation and inspire others; gain recognition for empowering women and advancing sustainable rural development; contribute to gender equality and the transformation of rural communities.

The winner – who will be officially announced on 21 November 2025 – will get recognised at the GRASS CEILING project final event on 3-4 December 2025 in Brussels.
