Recognising rural women innovators: enter the competition between 1 and 31 October

The EU-funded GRASS CEILING project seeks to recognise and celebrate women who are driving socio-ecological innovation in rural areas. The award intends to increase the number of women-led innovations in farming, rural economies, and communities, fostering sustainability, inclusion, and well-being.

Regional good practice: photo contest showcasing rural life through women’s eyes

The photo contest ‘Village and nature through the eyes of a woman’ will take place on 15 October in Koprivnica-Križevci County, Croatia. The contest will promote and document women’s daily lives, traditions, and the natural beauty of rural areas. The initiative can be adapted and replicated in other regions, offering a creative way to celebrate rural women and preserve cultural and environmental heritage.
