The Citizen Energy Advisory Hub (CEAH), recently launched by the European Commission, is a pioneering initiative designed to promote a bottom-up approach to the energy transition, enhance citizen participation, and strengthen the social dimension across the EU.

CEAH is a three-year project that will work to boost citizen-led energy projects by providing expertise, tools, and connections — ensuring that the transition to clean energy in Europe is inclusive, fair, and locally driven. In particular, the project will provide:
- Independent technical assistance to citizens, municipalities, energy communities, and NGOs who want to launch or scale up citizen-led energy initiatives;
- Capacity building and peer learning, helping local actors share solutions and overcome barriers (technical, financial, or regulatory);
- Resources and guidance on renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy sharing, and demand-side flexibility, ensuring that the benefits of the clean energy transition reach all citizens, including the most vulnerable;
- Networking and knowledge exchange through events, webinars, and a quarterly newsletter that spreads best practices and highlights success stories.
Energy communities, citizens, municipalities, NGOs, small businesses, and social economy actors are invited to get involved: request support, share experiences, and join the network to help shape a fair and inclusive energy transition in Europe.
