The webinar, organised by the EU-funded project SafeHabitus, will explore how young and aspiring farmers across Europe perceive agricultural working conditions and how these shape the attractiveness of farming as a career.
The webinar will present the results of a study based on focus groups conducted in ten European countries, which provides youth-centred insights into the realities, pressures and motivations experienced by the next generation of farmers.
The webinar will provide experiences from young farmers representing the European Council of Young Farmers (CEJA) on the barriers and opportunities young farmers face today, as well as implications for improving working conditions, wellbeing and long-term generational renewal in agriculture.
