This Policy Action Lab, organised by the Rural Pact Support Office, will be an opportunity to discuss with the Rural Pact Community the recent European Commission proposals for the 2028-2034 EU budget and policies, their implications for rural communities and ways to make rural voices heard in the policy debate.

The Forum, organised by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), will discuss rural innovation and entrepreneurship, together with rural innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers and policymakers. It will explore the drivers, challenges and opportunities behind startup creation in rural areas, and highlight successful local initiatives.

6th European Rural Parliament

The sixth European Rural Parliament (ERP), organised by Scottish Rural Action, will bring together a 40-country delegation to Scotland to amplify the diverse voices of rural and island people in Europe.
