Improving life in rural communities through social and technological innovation
A new EU-funded project – RURBANIVE – will work between 2024 and 2027 to establish a novel rural-urban innovation framework, supported by technical and social innovations in order to enhance territorial governance and existing policy tools.

The project will develop six ‘rural-urban enablers’ – innovations in six domains, favouring bi-directional rural-urban synergies and a well-being economy. It will develop a digital space – the ‘Community Store’ – integrating the enablers with a community of practice focused on policies facilitating rural-urban communities to create strong synergies.
