The NEB Prizes

The sixth edition of the New European Bauhaus Prizes will celebrate 13 projects and ideas in four categories: enhancing circularity, sustainability and innovation; strengthening local democracy and inclusion; arts, culture and heritage as drivers of change; enablers for New European Bauhaus transformation.

Each category has two strands – one dedicated to completed projects with clear and positive results, and the other for concepts developed by stakeholders aged 30 or younger.

Each project selected will be awarded up to EUR 20 000, while 14 additional projects will receive EUR 5 000 each. Moreover, finalists will benefit from tailored coaching, strategic guidance and communication support as part of the new Accelerator Programme.

An additional NEB Water Resilience prize will recognise a project or concept addressing water-related challenges, in line with the  EU water resilience strategy.

This edition of the NEB Prizes welcomes applications from projects and concepts implemented in the EU, the Western Balkans, Ukraine and Moldova. A new international prize will recognise two existing and emerging projects in Japan and Brazil.

Applicants can submit their entries by 17 March 2026 via the dedicated platform
