The event, organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Belgium, will explore the role of cohesion policies and territorial investments in transforming inner areas into increasingly attractive territories for businesses, investments and qualified human capital. The discussion will particularly build on the experience of the Abruzzo region.
The event will delve into investments in services, infrastructure, innovation and institutional capacity as tools to strengthen local ecosystems, create new development opportunities and enable talent retention.
The programme will feature interventions from the Abruzzo Region, OECD, European Commission’s DG REGIO, Amazon Italy, ANCI Abruzzo and Formez PA, as well as concluding remarks from Marco Marsilio, President of the Abruzzo region.
