It will gather contributions from participants that reflect rural area’s diversity, examine the forces driving its changes, and explore new perspectives. Participants are invited to send an abstract summarizing their research, project or idea (max. 600 words) by 10 February 2025.

This Policy Action Lab, organised by the Rural Pact Support Office, will explore measures that can be taken to efficiently implement the rural proofing mechanism at EU, national and regional levels. It will enable peer exchange and reflection as well as develop proposals and recommendations for policymakers.

Good Practice Webinar on rural innovation

This Good Practice Webinar, organised by the Rural Pact Support Office, will showcase national, regional and local experiences and initiatives that promote innovation in rural areas. It will build participants’ capacity to develop and implement innovative actions that respond to the emerging opportunities and challenges in rural areas, with a particular focus on technological, ecological and social innovation.

The info days will overview the topics of Horizon Europe’s forthcoming Work Programme 2025. The publication of the calls is expected by mid-April 2025 and the opening for submission – from 5 May 2025 onwards.
