The event, organised by the EU-funded SERIGO project and AEIDL’s European Local Innovation Forum, will bring together a diverse range of stakeholders to discuss challenges and opportunities around financing community-led social innovation in rural areas.
The webinar will explore different funding and financing models, including grants, ethical finance, crowdfunding and cooperative funding. Moreover, participants will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge through the SERIGO Community of Practice and ELIF communities, as well as discover inspiring practices from across Europe that support the sustainability of community-led social innovations in rural areas.
SERIGO is a project funded by Horizon Europe, which conducts community-based research, fosters collaborations, and provides policy recommendations on how social innovation can enhance rural communities.
The European Local Innovation Forum (ELIF), an AEIDL initiative, is a collaborative space where local practitioners, researchers and policymakers come together to exchange experiences, discuss challenges and co-create solutions for local development across Europe.
